PRACTICE PHOTOGRAPHS
The foreground of the image is the chair with the water sprayer on top. The background is the slightly blurred wooden wall with a few objects like a red basket on the bottom right. The overall lighting is quite dim. However you can see there is clear, natural lighting that makes the image visible. The foreground of this image is blurred whereas the mid to background isn't blurred. The lighting in the photograph consists of natural sunlight rather than artificial lights. In terms of the composition of the photograph, the leaves are all positioned in a centralised area. For the rule of thirds, I made sure the leaves took up the whole shot. In reference to the Depth of Field, the foreground and background is blurred to give the a more focused mid-ground.
The foreground of the image is slightly blurred as the background and mid-ground are more focused. In terms of lighting, the shot is wholly lit up with natural lighting. In terms of composition, the fence is in a upper central position with bushes either side of it on the left and right of the photograph. In terms of Rule of Thirds, I took the photograph to made sure the close-up of the fence is off-centre to make a more interesting image.
Both the foreground and background of the photograph isn't blurred; whole shot is in focus which makes it hard for the audience to know what to look at in the photograph. The photograph is lit up well with natural lighting. The composition of the shot consists of the bench in a central position taking up the whole frame with grass and a tree in the foreground and background.
The background is completely blurred whereas the foreground is the main focus of the shot. The lighting in this shot is slightly dim due to the overhead shadow that was formed from the ceiling. The composition of the shot consists of the chain in a central position with the background of foliage and rocks. In reference to the Depth of Field, the chain is the main focus of the image.
Both the foreground and background are in focus in the shot as neither is blurred. The background is dimly lit whereas the foreground is well lit with natural lighting. In terms of composition and rule of thirds of the shot, the sculpture is in a central foreground area; but the sculpture goes diagonally through the shot making it the main focus of the shot. The background is dark foliage.
The foreground of the image isn't blurred but the background of the shot is; this makes the statue of a face the main focus of the image. The lighting of the shot is dimly lit with natural lighting. In reference to the rule of thirds and the composition, the face takes up the whole frame with a black-coloured fence in the background.
The foreground of the image is blurred whereas the mid-ground and background isn't. This makes the dark, ivy hole the main focus of the image. The lighting of the shot is very well lit with natural lighting. In terms of composition the main eye-catching part of the photograph is the mystery surrounding it as it isn't easily identifiable. In terms of rule of thirds, the main focus of the image is slightly off-centre to give a more spontaneous feeling.
The shot is slightly over-exposed which makes the overall lighting look less natural. The foreground and mid-ground of the photograph are in focus whereas the background is blurred. The composition consists of a pond with a blow horn in the centre of it. In terms of rule of thirds, the blow horn is central in the shot making it slightly dull as it's quite a basic shot.
The foreground, mid-ground and background of the photograph are all in focus. The shot is over-exposed and the lighting is very bright. The composition consists of a tree in the centre of the frame along with a grassy/brick floor in the background. The overall photograph is very dull and doesn't show much emotion as it's something you see everyday.
